We lived in Kansas until I was 10 so I grew up putting ranch on everything. That’s it. That’s the story!
Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 1.5 cups ranch dressing
NOTE: honestly the measurements for herbs are approximate — but like theyre all fresh herbs so if you add a little too much of one and not enough of the other it’s not the worse thing in the world!!
You’ll need:
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons mayo
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons chives (about 10 blades)
6-8 basil leaves
1/3 cup parsley
1/3 cup cilantro
1/4 cup dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
You can either add everything to a blender and pulse until mixed OR you can finely chop the herbs and then add everything to a bowl and whisk. The second method will keep it from turning completely green if that bothers you since traditionally ranch is not green.
